Job Summary

The incumbent will oversee vehicle valuation process with area of responsibility include vehicle data collection, vehicle brief road test and creating a good rapport between the company, Relationship Officer, clients and the corporate.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of motor vehicle and determination of estimated market values.
- Advice individual and corporate client on mechanical, electrical and body repairs to insurance, banks, court cases etc
- After inspection, to do a brief vehicle road test accordingly to ascertain the unit road worthiness.
- Collect vehicle data and submit the report within the agreed SLAs.
- Assist in dispute resolution on valuation reports.
- Achieve the set standards in line with KPIs.
- Adhere to valuation officers code of conduct.
- Consult on areas of complexity.
- To take care of company assets such as mobile phones, motorcycles, riding gears and any other property allocated.
- Advice the insurance to trending vehicle models in terms of market appetite, maintenance cost, rear models etc.
- Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor/manager ie physical verification, home visit, office visit.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
- Prior experience in vehicle valuation industry with at least two years of experience be an added advantage
- Holder of a clean driving licence with 2 years of experience with classes BCE & FG.
- High level of confidentiality & Integrity.
- Must be a result-oriented person.
- Good customer service, interpersonal, presentation & communication skills.
- Must have a valid police clearance certificate.
- Must be computer literate/proficiency.
- Have knowledge in vehicle systems & Components.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
