Job purpose

• This role is responsible for the safety and security of the Club premises and the oversight of the Security Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring of CCTV and inspection of premises for potential risks.
• Ensuring Club rules and by-laws are followed, and all incidents are captured.
• Ensure that all Club property leaving the premises have valid gate passes.
• Ensure a proper search is done on staff and contractors during entry and exit into the Club as per policy.
• Maintain proper key movement records.
• Statements recording from suspects and witnesses.
• Write investigation reports.
• Conduct internal investigations.
• Liaise with local police for further investigation/ action.
• Gather intelligence for proper investigation.
• Conduct evacuation procedures where necessary.
• Conduct weekly parade.
• Ensure static guard posts are covered.
• Ensure events are accurately and timely booked in the occurrence book.
• Ensure records for member guests/visitors/contractors/suppliers are well maintained.
• Ensure security personnel remain vigilant and properly perform their duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma security management and legal studies/criminology.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Surveillance, safety, first aid and firefighting skills.

Job purpose

• This role is responsible for ensuring that the Club’s audio visual facilities are professionally set up, operated, maintained, and repaired for use in live events, such as concerts, sports, games, business conventions, meetings, webinars, and distance learning.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling, setting up, and installing media equipment and audio-visual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, tv sets, sound amplifiers and equipment racks.
• Setting up and performing electrical or audio wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
• Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving through event coordinators.
• Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Meeting clients’ standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event.
• Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner.
• Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories.
• Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audiovisual equipment.
• Generating expense reports for management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in electronics engineering/ audio visual technology or a related field.
• In-depth working knowledge of video conferencing, sound setup and lighting techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of audio-visual editing equipment and software.
• Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Physical fitness to transport and set up heavy equipment.
• Good hearing and eyesight.
• Three years’ working experience preferably in the hospitality Industry.
