Makueni County Public Service Board is established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act 2012. The Board was inaugurated on the 5th of August, 2013 as a body corporate with perpetual succession and seal capable of suing and being sued in its corporate name. Weights And Measures Assistant I

Requirements for appointment

  • Served in the grade of Weights and Measures Assistant II or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years;
  • Passed the proficiency examination for Weights and Measures Assistants, Part | and II and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

 

Chief Cooperative Auditor

Requirements for appointment

  • Served in the grade of Senior Cooperative Auditor or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years.
  • Bachelors degree in the following disciplines: – Commerce (Accounting/Finance option), Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or Cooperative management from a recognized institution.

OR

Certified Public Accountants (CPA) of Kenya Part IIT or Certified Internal Auditors (CTA) Part IV

OR

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Cooperative Management, Cooperative Audit
  • Internal Auditing or Finance from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
  • Demonstrated merit and shown ability as in work and results

Principal Cooperative Officer

Requirements for appointment

  • Served in the grade of Chief Co-operative Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Commerce, Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Sociology, Law, Agricultural Economics,
  • Co-operative Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management and Organizational Development, Finance or Agri-business from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
  • Demonstrated merit and shown ability as reflected in work performance and results

Deputy Director, Office Administrative Services

Requirements for appointment,

  • Served in the grade of Asst. Director, Office Administrative Services JG “P” for a minimum period of three (3) years;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial studies or Bachelor of Business and Office Management from a recognized institution;

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences plus a Diploma in secretarial studies from a recognized institution;

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences plus business Education Single and Group certificates (BES &GC) stages I, II and III from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subject
  • Shorthand III (minimum 120 p.m.)
  • Typewriting 111(50 p.m.)/computerized document processing
  • Business English II/communications II
  • Commerce II
  • Office management II/office Administration and management II
  • Secretarial duties II
  • Master’s degree in business Administration/business Management from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in senior Management course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme course lasting not less than six weeks from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
  • Demonstrated professional competence, managerial capability and a thorough understanding of the provisions of the office administrative services policies and have the ability to relate them to the national goals.

Assistant Director ECDE

Requirements for appointment,

  • Served in grade of Principal Graduate ECDE Teacher II (N) or a comparable or relevant position in the public service for at least 3 years;
  • Degree of Education degree in early childhood from a recognized institution of higher learning;
  • Masters of Education degree in early childhood development or any other relevant master’s in education from a recognized institution of higher learning;
  • Attended a senior Management course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Registered by the Teachers Service Commission;
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
