- Temporary Financial Analyst
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting, the selected candidate will be responsible for;
- Conducting analysis and examination of financial statements of listed companies prior to the listing of its securities at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE);
- Reviewing prospectuses for potential or actual material accounting or financial reporting deficiencies to ensure investors are provided with accurate information on which to base their investment decisions;
- Assisting in conducting analysis of financial statements submitted in support of applications by fund Managers, Investment advisers, Stock Brokers, Authorized Depositories, Investment Banks, REIT Managers, Derivative brokers, clearing members, etc.;
- Maintaining and updating databases relating to financial data, including submission of accounts, publication of financial statements, summaries of financial analysis;
- Organizing meetings, engaging and responding to queries and correspondence from various internal and external parties on the licensing, IFRS, and other requirements;
- Undertaking research on new developments in accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and licensing practices to ensure application of lead practices in review of applications;
- Performing any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or a related field.
- Professional qualifications like CPA, CFA or CIFA and one year of relevant experience would be added advantage

Temporary Assistant– Licensing and Approvals
Reporting to the Manager Debt, Equity & Other Schemes, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Review applications for approval of equity and debt instruments and for the registration of Collective Investment Schemes.
- Review prospectuses to ensure that the information to the public is accurate and complete and provides full disclosure of material facts Review applications for licensing for market institutions and intermediaries.
- Review applications for private transfers of securities.
- Review notices, announcements and advertisements by market intermediaries and listed companies and make recommendations of the suitability for publication.
- Liaise with the Market Supervision Department to carry out due diligence with regard to the appointment of proposed directors and key personnel of market intermediaries.
- Update and maintain the Contact Details and Movement of Key Personnel Database on a regular basis.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance or business-related.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience would be an added advantage
