Service Delivery Supervisor

Ensure supervision of the branch service delivery when the Branch Manager is away
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer Queries, Requests, or Complaints are handled within the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)and Turn Around Time
- Training of tellers and sales staff on products, services, policies, procedures, branch security, health, and safety
- Queue management to ensure customers are well taken care of and address any concerns in the branch
- Endeavors to increase deposits by new and existing clients by identifying and evaluating client needs’ through observation, listening, and questioning techniques, and ensuring quality recommendations that will satisfy the client and influence their decision-making process towards the bank and therefore meeting the Banks longer-term strategic goals
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the branch through the accurate and timely processing of all transactions and account maintenance, including customer instructions, account information requests, account instruments, etc.
- Maintains a complete understanding of all products and services offered via KB distribution channels, with knowledge sufficient to discuss product attributes fully and confidently
- Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing clients to capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell KB products and services to existing and potential clients
- Ensure cash differences are minimized and reported promptly per the policies and procedures.
- Dormant account activation
- Appraisal of credit loan applications
- Facilitates teller cash movement to and from the vault as per SLA
- Manage and maintain cash limits both at Central Cash and Branches and ensure prompt expatriation of excesses
- Ensure that foreign cash held is within the set limit
- Hold in joint custody keys to vault cash compartments and enforces dual control procedures at all time
- Ensure cash differences are minimized and reported promptly as per the laid-down policies and procedures
- Oversees teller duties and assists line with customer transactions during peak periods
- Balances and troubleshoots ATM/debit card concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years working in operations in a busy Bank
- Sound knowledge of the Banking Act and the regulatory framework in the Financial Services Industry
- Able to apply financial knowledge and skills to achieve business goals
- Able to identify and minimize potential and inherent risks in the banking
- Communicates effectively and can explain complex Business issues
- Track record of motivating, managing, and developing individuals and teams to achieve results
- Proficient in the use of Banking and office management systems
Branch Manager – Kitale

The purpose of the role is to manage the branch to achieve growth and profitability through sales and business development activities, best-in-class customer service to customers to maximize relationship building to achieve the bank strategy to “grow market share by building our reputation as an efficient, innovative and customer-centric enterprise bank in Kitale.
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for achieving the branch performance targets in: funding growth/retention of assets and liabilities, transactional Banking, Insurance, Leasing, PAR, net interest income, and profitability
- Primarily responsible for all loan applications approved at the branch level including timely completion and approval within quality parameters determined by KB lending policy
- Maintains a complete understanding of all KB products offered via the KB distribution channels, with knowledge sufficient to discuss product, attributes fully and confidently. Emphasis will be on engaging with clients to complete full financial analysis with the goal of widening clients’ relationships with KB.
- Training of all staff on products, services, policies, procedures, branch security, health and safety, and consumer protection
- Ensure the front-line team are engaging customers for upselling and cross-selling to ensure uptake and utilization of banks products and channels
- Endeavors to increase deposits by new and existing clients by identifying and evaluating client needs’ through observation, listening and questioning techniques, and ensuring quality recommendations that will satisfy the client and influence their decision-making process towards KB and therefore meeting KB longer-term strategic goals
- Primary responsibility for the promotion of KB in the region to; existing and prospective clients, professionals and businesses by way of; networking activities, call programs, marketing and promotional campaigns, sponsorship initiatives, community involvement and sales and product seminars
- Contributes to market acceptance by liaising with the Marketing Department over developments in the marketplace on any new products/procedures
Strategic input and planning:
- Contributes to the completion of the KB Retail Operational plan by preparing and implementing a branch business plan that encompasses strategies for performance on regional growth objectives
- Prepares branch budgets for approval and contributes to the overall control of expenditure by monitoring costs and reporting on performance against budget variations
- Responsible for developing a branch training plan so that staff members are able to meet targets and/or exceed their individual performance targets
- Develops a plan for the promotion and maintenance the KB brand in the region in consultation with the Business Development Manager and Marketing department
Leadership & Management:
- With the assistance of Human Resources, is responsible for the induction of branch staff
- Contributes to the ability of staff to meet performance objectives by providing day-to-day supervision, training and support and leading performance processes in accordance with KB policies and procedures
- Responsible for identifying and developing career path opportunities for staff within and outside the branch
- Contributes to the development of staff by assisting with the interpretation and implementation of operational policies and procedures
- Responsible for assigning tasks to staff, scheduling and monitoring work and reviewing results for timeliness, accuracy and quality
Qualifications
- University Degree from a recognized university
- Diploma in banking is an added advantage
