Pipe Masters and Plastics Limited is a leading manufacturer of PVC pipes, known for its quality and innovation. We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our growing team and oversee the maintenance and repair of our machinery, equipment, and facilities.
As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and following inspection schedules for all factory equipment, such as extrusion lines, mixers, socketing machines, pulverizers, etc.
- Performing regular preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure peak efficiency.
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions and breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Responding to emergency repair requests and minimizing production downtime.
- Maintaining an inventory of spare parts and consumables and initiating procurement when needed.
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Identifying and implementing process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to equipment maintenance and safety.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality control, to communicate and coordinate maintenance-related issues.
- Maintaining the factory’s infrastructure and facilities, such as electrical systems, welding, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Blowing of external panels and printers and any other duty assigned by your supervisor.

To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in maintenance in PVC Pipes manufacturing (an added advantage).
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair activities in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the maintenance team and other departments.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.
