Area Sales Manager – Alcohol & Beverage

Job Purpose:

  • Our client is a wine and spirits importer in Kenya. They seek to hire a highly motivated Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for daily Sales operations and enhancing business growth. The successful incumbent will ensure profitable operations in the company and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Some of the key responsibilities for the area sales manager include:
  •  Grow the popularity of the company’s products within designated trade channels.
  •  Present strong branding to drive growth in existing and new markets.
  •  Profit and loss responsibility within each trade channel.
  •  Liaise with customers in a positive and effective way.
  •  Managing the sales team.
  •  Achieve sales targets.
  •  Manage budgets.
  •  Create account generation plans that are appropriate for the long-term direction of the company.  Create sales plans for different regions and territories that align with the distillery’s objectives.  Position each brand appropriately in the market.
  •  Work with regional sales teams.
  •  Perform all work in accordance with the distillery’s values and code of ethics.

Requirements

  • Should have a degree/ Diploma in sales, marketing or business.
  • They must have a minimum of 4-years’ experience in sales within the wine & spirits industry.

  • Bounty Limited, a leading manufacturer, Marketer and distributor of Non-alcoholic beverages i.e. Safari King Bottled drinking Water, Safari Lemonade, Safari Booster Energy Drink, Rendezvous and Safari Orange is looking to fill position of Marketing Manager in the Head office who will implement and manage the marketing strategy for a number of brands to ensure the Marketing and Sales business objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • To develop and execute creative, multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish by applying your creativity and business acumen to day-to-day marketing requirements.
  • Creating brand plans and brand strategy and ensuring all aspects of the product or companies marketing activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
  • Managing all aspects of the brand through the supply chain as relates to new product development and market introduction.
  • Analyzing the brand and current strategy while highlighting areas of weaknesses or negative brand perception.
  • Be part of the team developing, defining and refining the brand’s positioning and tone across the country.
  • Analyze market data and research insights to identify growth opportunities for the brand and improve the effectiveness of our communications.
  • Advise on Marketing Expenditure and Additional budget requirements.
