Credit Risk Advisory Manager

Purpose of the role:
- Monitoring of the Corporate watch portfolio of accounts within CRAG.
- Supporting the Senior CRAG Managers in formulation and implementation of their portfolios.
- Directly responsibility for the post sanctioning monitoring and control activities such as maintaining and monitoring covenants, excess management and all other monitoring vide MIS/reports to stakeholders ensuring accurate, speedy and efficient delivery of service standardsfor CRAG accounts

Academic Qualifications:

Professional:

Work experience:

Senior Manager Monitoring & Control
Job Purpose Statement
- The Senior Manager Monitoring & Control (M&C) Manager shall have primary responsibility to maintain a robust Risk Controls framework in the post-sanctioning fulfilment activities for a portfolio of accounts within the Commercial Banking portfolio of NCBA.
- Working closely with Corporate Relationship Managers who are primary contact point for customers, including undertaking customer visits, in ensuring adherence to agreed actions and making recommendations on monitoring enhancement, waivers or downgrades of accounts to improve overall portfolio monitoring and risk assessment.
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business management discipline in either of Finance, Business, and Economics, Mathematics / Statistics or related field from a reputable institution.
Professional:
- Comprehensive banking background and experience in credit appraisal and loan portfolio management.
- Understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with mathematical aptitude & advanced accounting skills.
Desired work experience:
- At least five years’ experience with at least two years in an active corporate environment or credit risk management.

AML Compliance Specialist
Job Purpose Statement
To provide effective and efficient 2nd and 3rd level user support, production management, incident management, change management, project management, patch management and application administration with respect to Compliance systems and the related interfaces. The systems include Sanction Screening, AML, FATCA, Fraud Management System, GOAMl amongst others. This includes support for BAU, projects and changes carried out on any of these applications. To advise Business teams on best architecture for deployment on Business Solutions with respect to the various Business Processes
Ideal Job Specifications
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant IT degree from a University with a reputable curriculum.
- Oracle, Unix and core banking system knowledge
- Proven experience in supporting AML, Fraud and Compliance systems for at least 5 years
- 5 years practical proven experience in support and troubleshooting of T24, web technology and programming in Info-basic.
- Experience with Temenos Fraud Crime Management is an added advantage
- Experience with SAS AML is an added advantage
- Proven Experience in Jboss / Tomcat or IBM WAS Web Application Management
- Proven experience in Core Banking or Applications systems support
- Proven experience in systems analysis, design, implementation and support.

Digital Channels Specialist
Job Purpose Statement
This is an ICT specialist role whose purpose is to provide effective and efficient support and system administration to the bank’s digital channel systems. This includes but is not limited to Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Money Payment systems, Bill Payment Systems etc
Ideal Job Specifications
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant IT degree from a University with a reputable curriculum.
- Training and applied knowledge in Digital Channels Support, Unix and Oracle
- Three year’s practical proven experience in installing, setup, support and troubleshooting of 3 tiered application architecture, including web technology support e.g. Jboss, WebLogic and IIS.
- Proven experience in supporting banking channels (mobile, internet, ATMs etc)
- Proven experience in systems analysis, design, implementation and support.
- Proven experience in SQL Scripting

Job Purpose Statement
The Senior Database Administrator role is to support the bank’s databases and database infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas; particularly NCBA group databases, database storage, database server operating systems and database backups in collaboration with external vendors, system experts and consultants.
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Professional:
- ITIL, OCA, OCP, OCM, other relevant professional qualifications in IT field would be an added advantage
- Project Management certification and experience is preferred e.g. PRINCE2, PMP
Desired work experience:
- Five years’ experience in databases and storage support on medium to large organizations.
