Job Description:
Reltex Leihua is a tarpaulin manufacturing company seeking to hire an HR Manager to provide the organization with strong HR support to achieve business, organizational, and people strategies and objectives. The HR Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Manager to oversee all HR and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and provide HR guidance to other departments.
Maintain and continuously improve the company’s Personnel Regulations and HR policies, processes, and procedures to support ISO 9001 certification.
Ensure compliance with company policies, including HR, Travel, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and conduct training/sensitization sessions for employees.
Manage negotiations with trade unions (CBA). Administer statutory programs, including medical insurance, pension, NHIF, NSSF, NITA, and Higher education loans.
Oversee the performance management cycle and hiring process.
Manage new employee induction and off-boarding processes.
Ensure timely generation and distribution of pay slips and tax forms.
Oversee the leave management system and HR budget.
Coordinate and follow up on training programs.
Manage the HR and Admin team, including recruitment, performance reviews, and training.
Conduct Performance Development Interviews (PDIs) with team members.
Schedule team members’ workload and review deliverables.
Manage team member absences and promote a positive working relationship.
Oversee HR employee files and lead HR improvement projects.
Provide HR support to management/employees.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
– Degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
– Excellent knowledge of Kenyan labor laws.
– Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
– 7 to 10 years of experience in HR management.
– Experience with CBA.
– Member of IHRM.
– Excellent analytical skills.
– Ability to engage and influence at senior levels.
– Experience in handling blue-collar labor-intensive environments.
– Strong interpersonal skills.
– Integrity and approachability.
