Government Advertises Jobs in Various Ministries Within the ICT Sector; How to Apply
Within a variety of ministries and government departments, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has stated that job openings have been made available in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).
In an official announcement that was made public on the 1st of August, the Commission stated that it is issuing invitations to people who are qualified to apply for the jobs of Secretary for E-Government and Digital Economy (1 position), Secretary for ICT Infrastructure (1 position), and Secretary for Security and Audit Control (1 position).
The Commission is making serious efforts to fill the State Department of ICT and Digital Economy’s ten available positions for ICT Directors. In addition, a total of 34 directors will be appointed to various ministries and state departments in this administration.
During the course of the interviews, serving officers are going to be expected to produce authentic copies of their letters of appointment to their existing substantive appointments. Notice from the PSC was read in part.
Applicants are strongly discouraged from submitting information on academic and professional certificates that were not obtained by the time the advertisement was closed.

Those who are interested and meet the requirements should submit their applications ONLINE through the Commission website (which can be found at www.publicservice.go.ke) or through the employment portal.
During the interview process, those candidates who were shortlisted will be expected to present the original versions of their National Identity Cards, as well as academic and professional certifications and transcripts.
