Position Summary.

The incumbent is responsible for all farms’ coordination of agronomical
activities and will be expected to drive the farm with the production
manager to ensure success and to collate all farm reports with respect to
projections, and all other agronomical issues for management use. You will
be expected in addition to other duties as may be assigned by management
from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Check on the Planting Plan and confirm, if it has been done as
required, special emphasis on date and quality for all crops.
• Collate all the reports from Crop specialist and prepare a
management report.
• Ensure that Crop Specialists are supported by ensuring that Irrigation,
Spraying and Fertigation team are fully resourced.
• Document all agronomical issues arising.
• Ensuring all quality items raised are cured.
• Confirm the Projections for each crop.
• Develop reports on Projections and Actuals.
• Explain all the deviations as projected and Actual.
• Ensure full optimization of machinery.
• Ensure that all sections are resourced.
• Participate in the forums as provided.
• Direct Supervision of Crop Specialist.
• Promote and maintain ethical and professional standards in line with
company staff regulations, ETI and other codes of conducts to
enhance worker welfare.
• Health and Safety – Ensure all duties are performed safely and
responsibly in consideration of Environmental, Health, and Safety
Company policies.
• Any other duty as may be assigned to you by the management from
time to time.
Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge
The following qualifications, knowledge, and experience are required of an
employee in this role.
Essential
• Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations
pertaining to Vegetable Production.
• level/A level education or its equivalent in the Agricultural related field
• Analytica skills.
• 2 Years’ relevant experience.
