ACTIVITIES
M & E Data Support
- Manage project databases by ensuring quality data entry
- Ensure data integrity is upheld by doing regular data cleaning and validation
- Assist in preparation of M&E tools and development of data management processes such as SOPs
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONALREQUIREMENTS
- Holder of a diploma in Health Records / Information Technology or related discipline
- First degree in Statistics, IT, Social Sciences or its equivalent will also be considered.
- ICT proficient in Ms Acess, Excel spreadsheets
- Experience in program management will be an added advantage

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or other directly related field
Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in communications and knowledge management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong experience in the use of technology and social media to advance a communications strategy/agenda including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
- Experience building and managing online communities with high engagement rates
- Up to date on industry trends in communications and knowledge management and able to stay ahead of the latest developments in the industry.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
- Knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an asset
- Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices
- Knowledge of national and regional media environment and familiarity with journalist networks preferred
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and partners toward common goals
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated ability to ensure knowledge management and sharing of skills and information with diverse communities.
- Demonstrated experience fostering and strengthening relationships and partnerships with targeted stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and networking skills.
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in English. Knowledge of French would be an added advantage.
