Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.22,270 –Ksh.30,020p.m. (Job Group ‘G’)

Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this position a candidate must;
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade C+ (Plus) or KCE division IV at ‘O’ Level;
- Have a Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education offered by KNEC/Ministry ofEducation or its approved equivalent. (Teachers who have served for a minimum period of three years in public ECDE centres in the County and are in possession of a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education will have an added advantage)
- Be Registered by Teachers Service Commission;
- Be proficient in Computer Applications;
- Have a certificate of Good Conduct.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;
- Class teaching;
- Role modelling, guidance and counselling, mentoring and motivation of the learners;
- Preparing reports;
- Ensuring the safety and security of the learners;
- Assist in designing, organizing and facilitating play/learning activities for learners;
- Assist in organizing and facilitating play/learning activities for the learners;
- Caring and nurturing spiritual, moral, social, mental, physical, aesthetic and emotional growth of the learners (holistic development);
- Managing ECDE classes and keeping professional and administrative records (schemes of work, lesson plans, daily programme of activities, attendance registers etc.) and ensuring learners’ safety and security; and
- Preparing and developing play/learning materials.

Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for the Vocational Training Instructors with diploma qualifications. An Instructor at this level will work under the guidance of a senior Instructor.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;
i. Theoretical and practical instruction in the area of specialization
ii. Preparing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, trainee records, training and learning materials
iii. Carrying out trainee assessments, administering examinations and preparing progress reports
iv. Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
v. Conducting co-curricular activities and maintaining trainees’ discipline
vi. Other duties assigned by the head of the institution.

SECURITY WARDEN III–ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY NINE(189) POSITIONS–VACANCY NO. 05/2023/01
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh 14,610–Ksh 16,250p.m(Job Group ‘D’)

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this position a candidate;
i. Must have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum grade of D plain or its equivalent qualifications;
ii. Be between 20 to 35 years of age;
iii. Be physically, medically and mentally fit;
iv. Be in possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI); and
v. Having undergone paramilitary training at Kenya National Youth Service will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Before deployment, direct entrants will undergo three (3) months initial training as Security Warden III and on successful completion of their training their duties and responsibilities will involve:
i. Patrol and guard access points;
ii. Detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and /or protected areas; and
iii. Control crowds, collect information and report on matters of security interest.
