- Stock Accountant
We are looking for a highly capable stock accountant to manage our stock inventory. You will be analyzing supply chain data to ensure stock availability, placing purchase orders and transferring stock, and maintaining purchase and pricing reports. To ensure success as a stock controller, you should possess extensive knowledge of inventory management and experience in a related industry.
What you will be doing:
Stock management
- Overseeing stock storage processes i.e stock batching and stock arrangement
- Bi – weekly stock takes and stock
- Maintaining and updating daily inventory records
- Ensuring the uninterrupted availability of stock by analyzing the supply chain trends
- Forecasting supply and demand to avoid overstocking or running out of stock
Sourcing
- Overseeing the chicken sourcing from farmers
- Ensuring that stock replenishment needs are addressed by the Operations Director in time
- Ensuring that all stock purchases are within the set thresholds
- Keep up with the latest prices among chicken farmers and fisherfolks
- Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals
Other duties
- Coordinate regular inventory audits
- Keep updated inventory records
Preferred qualifications
- Proven 3+ years work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Active participation in inventory audits
- Excellent organization skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- BSc in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or relevant field
Sales Lead – Nairobi Region
We are looking for Sales Lead to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within the Nairobi Region. In this role, we seek outstanding negotiation and sales skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our clients are happy and search for ways to grow our sales.
Sales Lead responsibilities are:
- Know the competitors and advise on suitable strategies to compete
- efficiently in the market
- Realize sales budget (target) both in volume, margin and market share
- Coming up with effective sales methods
- Submitting reports to Business Development Manager in a timely manner
- Discovering new sales opportunities
- Briefing prospective customers about the company’s products
- Negotiating favorable payment terms with the customers
Sales Lead requirements are:
- 2 years +experience as a Sales Lead in the FMCG industry
- Able to hit performance KPIs
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with a sales reporting software
- Good leadership and organizational ability
- Problem-solving skills
- BA/BSc/in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Driving license will be a plus
