They will be expected to keep the front desk tidy and clean.  Ensure that they greet, communicate with and welcome guests.  Keep the office in order.  Answer all the customers’ questions and  address their complaints.  Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages. In addition, she/he will demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements (Jhpiego policies, USAID/FAR regulations)

The post holder will support Senior Communication Specialist in developing and implementing communication strategies for Jhpiego-supported programs and disseminating program information. This position will involve working closely with program team, public and private sector hospitals and health facilities, professional organizations, and other relevant groups.   Reports to: Senior Communication Specialist Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

USAID Momentum Country and Global Leadership Quality of Care (MCGL QoC) project is a multi-year project that provides technical and capacity development assistance (TCDA) to ministries of health and other country partners to expand global leadership and learning and enable government-led partnerships to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that accelerate reductions in maternal, newborn, and child mortality and morbidity. MCGL QOC has a geographic scope restricted to the national level but extended through partners to currently 24 States of Nigeria.   Rationale/Justification MCGL-QoC wishes to support the Reproductive Health Division of the Department of Family Health; Federal Ministry of Health with the services of a Consultant. He/She will lead the process of developing the Safe Motherhood, End Preventive Maternal Mortality Strategy for Doctors, Nurses/Midwives, Community Health Extension Workers, Program managers, Administrators, Policy makers etc to improve Quality of Care in Nigeria. The scope of the review process would involve the following: – Review and make inputs to the Zero draft –  Adapt/Adopt locally and internationally existing materials/documents. – National stakeholders’ reviews – Finalization and Validation of document – Launching and Dissemination   RATE: NGN 100,000 PER DAY

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed huge gaps in the Sierra Leone health system’s ability to respond adequately to the situation. The country has been facing several challenges in equipping COVID-19 treatment centers (CTCs) and isolation units with the appropriate equipment, particularly life-saving medicine oxygen. This resulted in the country adopting a reactionary approach to mitigate the short supply of Oxygen during the pandemic instead of putting together a long-term plan to meet Oxygen demand continuously and sustainably. Meanwhile donors and partners such as the Global Fund, FCDO, MSF, WHO, ADB are funding the procurement and installation of PSA plants and other oxygen management equipment including  the procurement and installation of 3 new oxygen plants powered by 50 KVA solar power for 34 Military Hospital, Connaught Hospital and Princess Christian Maternity Hospital (PCMH)/Ola-During Children’s’ Hospital (ODCH); and 50KVA solar power for Kenema and Bo Regional hospitals to support critical care services for COVID-19 and other essential and critical care services.  At the same time, the country has set up a Technical Working Group (TWG) composed of technical partners to support the government in its continuous search for sustainable solutions to close the country’s oxygen gap. In 2021, the MoHS developed an Operational Plan for the expansion of oxygen production capacity in Sierra Leone. Building up from that plan, the MoHS plans to develop a long-term comprehensive strategic plan for the expansion of oxygen production capacity in Sierra Leone for production, logistics management, distribution, regulation, operation, maintenance, and audit at the point of use.    Through C19RM funding from USAID, Jhpiego will recruit a Technical Advisor to provide technical assistance to Medical Oxygen Ecosystem in Sierra Leone       The Technical Advisor will work in close collaboration with MOHS, the Jhpiego team in Sierra Leone, and representatives from different Jhpiego International dased departments to support the successful implementation of the project.

El coordinador de administración y logística proveerá apoyo en las funciones de Administración, Logística y Adquisiciones del Proyecto IHNA en Quiché e Ixil. Se espera que el Coordinador colabore estrechamente con el Oficial de Administración y con el Gerente de Finanzas y Administración para asegurar que todos los objetivos y metas institucionales previstos se alcancen oportunamente, dentro de los límites de los gastos y de conformidad con las políticas y procedimientos. La función también es responsable del seguimiento y la gestión del inventario de materiales y suministros para garantizar la eficacia organizativa, la eficiencia y el cumplimiento de las políticas de Jhpiego y proporciona apoyo administrativo general a la oficina de Jhpiego, así como otras tareas, según se le asignen.

The Compliance and Administration Manager will be responsible for putting in place, implementing and maintaining the systems required to assure the integrity and effective performance of a USAID-funded project focused on mental health; playing a key role in procurements that adhere to Jhpiego and USAID rules and procedures; and ensuring smooth operations to support effective program delivery. This person will also have a critical role in ensuring that Jhpiego is in compliance with Government of Cambodia financial and administrative requirements.  Initially this position will be the only compliance and administration position in the country office, working closely with third-party groups for payments, payroll administration, IT services, etc.  However as the office develops and grows and functions are taken in-house, this position will be crucial in building an effective finance and administration team and putting in place sound, compliant financial and administrative systems.    Cambodian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Jhpiego is seeking a Senior Technical and Program Manager to work on a new USAID funded project focusing on improving access to mental health care and psychosocial support. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of the mental health/psychosocial support technical and operational landscape with well-developed program management and USAID award administration skills to coordinate and advance program activities and provide effective support to stakeholders. This position will be responsible for day to day coordination, management and implementation of the project, working closely with the Project Director and partners. A key aspect of the role will be working with local partners and stakeholders on strengthening capacity around mental health and psychosocial support.   Cambodian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Jhpiego lidera la Iniciativa de Salud y Nutrición, un proyecto de cinco años USAID que tiene por objeto fortalecer y fomentar la capacidad institucional, prestar servicios integrados y de calidad en las esferas de la planificación familiar (FP/reproductiva, salud del recién nacido, niños y adolescente (RMNCAH), nutrición, y agua, saneamiento e higiene (WASH) en el enfoque de las tierras altas occidentales de Guatemala. El Oficial Técnico de Monitoreo y Evaluación (M&E) diseñará, adaptará y garantizará la calidad de los datos, supervisará la recopilación de datos y la sistematización de las fuentes de datos de monitoreo, evaluación e investigación basadas en evidencia. Esta posición documentará información digital o digitalizada sobre los resultados del proyecto y contribuirá al análisis del proyecto, la gestión del conocimiento, la presentación de informes y la rendición de cuentas en colaboración con los interesados. El oficial técnico de M&E diseñará, revisará y gestionará la recopilación de datos de proyectos y otros instrumentos e informes de seguimiento, evaluación y/o investigación, así como el seguimiento del programa de aprendizaje y rendimiento de los proyectos, los indicadores de proceso según los requisitos de calidad de los datos, los protocolos y los Procedimientos Estándares de Operación. Bajo la dirección del asesor de M&E, el oficial técnico de M&E se encargará de ayudar al Ministerio de Salud a presentar los resultados del proyecto a agentes externos. y contribuirá con resúmenes, insumos e infografías con fines de aprendizaje, asistirá en la redacción de artículos para reseñas y revisión de pares y otros interesados.

The Chief of Party (COP) provides vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID integrated maternal, newborn and child health program. The project aims to reduce maternal, newborn, child mortality and morbidity and strengthen health systems to support integrated quality primary health care services.  ​  The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of all project activities. The COP will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. The COP will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID and the Government on routine and strategic matters. The COP will ensure effective organizational management and communication with host country governments and key stakeholders at all levels, including international entities.    The project is expected to operate over a five-year period.   This position is contingent upon award from USAID.
