Nakuru County Public Service Board invites applications from competent and qualified persons to fill various positions in the County Government of Nakuru Public service, as per Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Section 59 of the County Governments Act, 2012.

VACANT POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OFPUBLIC SERVICE TRAINING AND DEVOLUTION-[VACANCY NO. 05/2023] SECURITY WARDEN III–ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY NINE (189) POSITIONS–VACANCY NO. 05/2023/01 Basic Salary Scale: Ksh 14,610–Ksh 16,250p.m(Job Group ‘D’) Allowances as per the SRC circulars Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable For appointment to this position a candidate; i. Must have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum grade of D plain or its equivalent qualifications; ii. Be between 20 to 35 years of age; iii. Be physically, medically and mentally fit; iv. Be in possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI); and v. Having undergone paramilitary training at Kenya National Youth Service will be an added advantage. Duties and Responsibilities Before deployment, direct entrants will undergo three (3) months initial training as Security Warden III and on successful completion of their training their duties and responsibilities will involve: i. Patrol and guard access points; ii. Detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and /or protected areas; and iii. Control crowds, collect information and report on matters of security interest.
