INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Murang’a County Government Internship Program is a government youth program whose main objective is to offer college graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build skills in order to enhance their chances for employment, networking, and entrepreneurship.
The Murang’a County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following intern positions:
4. Medical Laboratory Technologist interns – (10) Posts
Requirement for appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or any other equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board
- Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board (KMLTTB)
- Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board (KMLTTB)
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Renumeration: 30,000 Shillings P.M.
The objective of the Murang’a County Government Internship Program 2025 is to provide young adults with the opportunity to gain skills that can be applied to future jobs, obtain real workplace experience, and build a professional network among others.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, an applicant must:
- Be a Kenyan citizen not over the age of 45 years
- Be an unemployed graduate from a recognized training institution who has completed a degree course in the last 24 months or less, in the relevant field
- Not have benefited from a similar internship program or been exposed to work experience related to their area of study since graduating
- Not have exited from formal employment
ALL Applications for internship should be supported by the applicant’s university/college or related institution’s records/certificates/transcripts.
TERMS OF SERVICE
- The County Government will not offer employment after the completion of the Internship Program.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete twelve (12) months’ Internship Program to fully benefit from the objectives of the program.
- INCOMPLETE applications will not be considered; and
